There are many ways to test authenticity. For Gold - If you want to perform a test at home, we recommend acid testing as the easiest and most reliable method. You will need a gold-testing kit to get the acid you need. Testing kits include various bottles of nitric acid for different types of gold.

Definitely. 14-karat gold is durable and an excellent choice for engagement rings or any other piece of fine jewelry. It is made of gold and durable metals like zinc, nickel, silver and copper along with a rhodium plating. This sturdy blend is resistant to corrosion, rust and tarnish.

A single South Sea pearl takes up to 3-4 years to grow and the "seeding" of its oyster is carried out by an experienced technician. The colour of each pearl is determined by the "mother of pearl" secreted by the oyster, and only nature decides what the final colour hue of each pearl will be. In general, South Sea pearls are expensive because they are cultured for a long time.

Most of our products are pre-order so you can definetely choose your own setting. If the design you want is not in our website, you may fill out our Custom Form so we can quote your jewelry piece. You will have three color options: white gold, rose gold and yellow gold. While similar, each color differs in composition. The type of metal alloys used and percentage of each metal indicates what color the gold is.

An order confirmation will be sent to you by e-mail as soon as your order is received. Once the order has shipped, a shipping confirmation with the tracking number will be sent. In the event that your order includes a pre-order item in addition to other items, the order will be shipped at the later date unless requested to be shipped separately for an additional shipping fee.

We do ship to Japan and New Zealand, by batch. If you are shipping to another country whose borders charge duty to imported merchandise, you will be requested to pay for this import fee by the postal service, which then pays your government. We are too small to cover the cost of these duties, and as it goes to your government and not us, we are unable to refund this amount. Our COD payment option is currently not available, but if you wish to pay for your order only after receive your order, you can opt for Cash on Pickup - FREE. You may pick up your order at California Garden Square, Mandaluyong City. Please bring your valid ID and note this is subject to availability of the product. As we are a small business, we are only offering whole sizes for rings at this moment. We will continue to expand our range over time and it is important to us that our customers are happy. If your finger is a half size and you do not see it available, please contact us at client@amoretto.com prior to placing your order so we can determine if your ring can be special ordered.

While gold has a shine and a luster all its own, it’s also a soft metal. This makes it susceptible to dings, scratches, dents, and even breaking. Make sure to take your jewelry off before swimming. With repeated exposure, chlorine will weaken your gold jewelry’s structure and eventually lead to it breaking. If treated right, solid gold jewelry should last for generations.

Most of our pieces are pre-order so we do not allow refunds. However, in the unfortunate scenario that an error is made on our part, we will fix or replace your item immediately. Please note we accept exchanges only for wrong or damaged products. These products or services may have limited quantities and are subject to exchange only according to our Exchange Policy.

Yes, we are happy to offer Care and Repair for your jewelry products. We have a team of expert jewelers whose life and passion is creating fine jewelry so you can be certain that your precious pieces are in good hands. If you have old jewelry pieces that are damaged and you need a repair, you can fill out our Custom Form so we can quote your jewelry.

If your Amoretto jewelry gets damaged within 30 days after we delivered the product, we will fix it for free. You will need to pay for shipping the piece back to us for repair, and it may take 2 - 4 weeks. Please note each case is unique so we cannot guarantee that we can fix all damages, but once we know the details of your repair we can better advise.
